Hello, my name is Lee Hate... and I'm an artoholic =D No...Hate isn't my real surname obviously but it is the one I'm using. Guess you could say it's my artist name. I didn't choose the name because I hate anybody or anything. Actually just the opposite. I think hate is a two sided emotion. Never heard of someone loving peace and war. In my opinion hate can also be a positive emotion. That's not the reason I chose it either. There are a few reasons I'm going by the name. A couple of them are because I thought it reflected the theme of most my artwork and honestly I thought it sounded cool as hell =D Guess I'm just twisted. If you already know my real last name then good for ya =D If ya ask I'll prolly lie unless I think ya really need to know it. If the mystery is more than you can bare then writing me a check is probably a good way to find it out =P However...Lee is my given name. I've been doing art ever since I could hold a pencil properly. I've been serious about my work since about the age of eight. I know that seems young but I knew then I wanted to be an artist. I drew everyday and kept a sketchbook with me everywhere I went. I had a lot of support from my parents and other members of my family. Friends and teachers growing up were also a big influence and source of support. Now most my support consists of a lot of the same people with the addition of my wife, two sons and my fans =D
