OK..so maybe my blogs wont always be personal =D Well..maybe this is sorta personal. I wanted to write a little about my current project. I'm doing a portrait of J-Rock and Patty the Radio Girl of the radio show Rock Solid Pressure. I added them on my friends list on myspace like I've done a lot of people that I thought might like my artwork and never really thought much about it. Also around this time I was trying to think of a good way to get my work some exposure. I'm not much of a promoter though I try =D Well a couple of days after adding them...maybe it was the same day...I get a message from J-Rock telling me that he loved my work and was looking for an artist of my talent to do a portrait of himself and Patty. As payment I would get a 60sec radio ad spot and a link to my website on their site as a sponsor. With an offer to do more work and J even said he would put in a good word for me with some of his horror movie industry connections. Hell...ya can't beat that =D Weird how these things just happen..hell maybe it's luck. Either way now it looks like I might be gettin' a little national exposure. Rock Solid Pressure broadcasts in several states and parts of Canada. Just wanted to share that. Thought it was sorta ironic and cool all at the same time =D
